Installing second head unit

Hiya, basically I can't do much with the original head unit as it current runs the cars inbuilt sat nav Bluetooth monitor etc but I'd like to run an amp and upgraded speakers so a replacement head seems like the best way to go. Can anyone see any reason why I couldn't install a second head unit into the glovebox. Id only use 1 or the other bat a time so Can connect speakers to both?

Yes but then I loose a set of speakers unless I split the RCA to the amp and run them from there......
