Always worth checking the ICE install on a car that is new to you. The front speakers were, well, loose....being attached with only two screws meant they could rock up and down and there was no seal around them so l sorted that. And one rear speaker was not working, which was just a loose connection but they were also only attached with two screws. The holes were there for the other two so l fitted some.
And....now l have some bass in the music where before it was non descript and tinny.
Nice to have a car where the speakers are easy to get out.
I may fit some mid/bass units in the front instead of the 3-way ones currently fitted, as there are already tweeters in the dash which work fine.

These speakers appear to be really nice ones, clearly upgraded, now securely fitted they sound great.
Plus l am back with the OE head unit as my missus couldn’t work the Alpine one fitted in the car when we got it.
Which is a shame, but having said that the OE radio is actually alright. Not tried the CD part.
