Idle issue PH1 172

Hi there chaps,
Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on my problem.
Brought the car & it idled very low & stalled when warmed up if steering was turned.
The icv was dirty & the throttle body was very dirty.
So a big clean of the TB & replaced the icv.
Now it starts ok & idles ok when cold.
But when it warms up it idles at 2k.
If I turn engine off & then turn back on it then idles fine until I drive up the road.
Checked all hoses & gaskets & replaced. Also the Throttle Body isn't sticking open.
I have searched this forum for idle issues but no one has said what the fix was.
Head scratching.

how many times have you posted this??? have replied somewhere on one of your many posts but reply on here once you've read it.

how many times have you run it? when i replaced my idle control valve i kept starting it and the idle dropped a bit every time i started it. i think it's the control valve getting to it's correct rest position so it"s almost closed.

I have been thinking this. I took it back off & closed it up a bit.
It seemed ok for a short while, like 5 minutes..

you could try turning the ignition on and off several times to set the valve sets itself.
