how to tel between 172 and cup?

picked up my cup today

been for a spin and i am really impressed how smooth the car is pulls like a train in every gear:approve: just a few questions am i suppost to have a cup badge on the car? and i noticed i have yellow springs. is this standard?

Should be 172 cup badges on the "B" pillars and blue steering wheel thing.

As for yellow springs, aint they Apex springs?

i have a bit of blue on the steering wheel with renaultsport on it nut no badge on the b piller as for the springs i dont know

The b pillar/ boot stickers fall off pretty easily mate, lots of cups dont have them.

Yes, theyre apex springs by sound of it, lowers 40mm. Quite hard ride though?

nope not a thing to be honest it doesnt suprise me who ever had the car before me must have had a split personality with mods got some nice touches like samco hoeses and a pipercross ik but then he goes and adds a big jap style back box. it really lets the car down

Standard springs are black and sit quite high mate.

this is deff lower than standard then there isnt much room between the top of the wheel and the arch

at the moment i couldnt say due to the rain but my gti6 has 130k on the clock so the clio really feels fresher if you get what i mean

no cup badge on b piller
half leather seats
rear headrests
spare wheel
im sure there is something else. is there a way i could tell for deffonite it is a cup?

Cups defo don't have rear headrests or leather seats. But i am no expert.

comes with speedline turinis (multispoke wheels) opposed to the 5spoke 172 wheels...its in mondial blue (a lighter blue colour than monaco blue) or silver if ur special

cup comes in blue or limited silver only
cup has cloth interior

doesn come with a spare but can be bought anyway
dont think they have rear headrest
