How do you check for fault codes???

Hi Guys,

Recently purchased a PH2 Clio 172 on a 03 plate, not sure if anyone has read on a previous thread that the car is suffering with miss firing probs, only seems to be when the engine has warmed up and under full acceleration, im 99% sure this is down to the coilpack but read a few threads on here mentioning you can check for error codes, just wondering how you do this??

Fault codes can only be read using diagnostic equipment on these vehicles I'm afraid... do not try jamming LED's into random multiplugs like its a Vauxhall because it won't work.

Take it to a local specialist matey... should cost you anymore than £25-30 to be properly checked over (And by that I don't mean just having the fault codes read but also having the live data looked at for any signs of spurious readings).
