How do u remove?...

I have a ph1 172 and want to remove the silver surround that is around the stereo and heater vents but before i start going at it i thought id ask how to remove it 1st

It's bonded to the whole bottom dash

Here's the bad news:

a) it's plastic bonded so needs to be either melted out or hit in the right places with a chisel/sharp screw drivers
b) the whole dash needs to come out to do it pretty much

Taking dash out ain't a hard job anyway.

If you have a multimaster tool you could probably cut it out!
