House camera/ dash cam

Hi all, I am after some advice on cameras.

Basically where we live is going down hill and there's been a few cars damaged around our way as of late and eggs being thrown at night, The mother-in-laws car being one.

I am so ocd with my car and eggs damage paintwork, so I am after a cheap camera to stick in our bedroom window to record at night.

I tried my iPhone but it didn't pick up very well due to low light, and the girl friend had a real cheap cheap car can but now that doesn't even stay powered on when on the mains lol

I am looking to spend up to £50 really for a camera, has anyone got any suggestions?

We actually use it as a baby monitor, but it has great night vision, the camera is moveable remotely and with a decent app you get a realtime stream.

Suggest upping your budget to £75 and getting a Foscam19803P. Factory support is excellent both at installation stage and later.
