First off, no hate. I've read the threads about MOTs, blinding people etc.
I want to put a HID Kit on my dipped beam, so they're in projector lenses. I'm going 35W and 6000k, so nothing crazy there.
This is really a question for people who've purchased kits. There seems to be two main UK suppliers, hids-direct.co.uk and hids4u.co.uk. 2 questions :
1. Are slim kits needed in the 172, or are standard ballasts fine?
2. HIDS-direct.co.uk seem to have kits for £50, whereas hids4u.co.uk are £112.00, is there really that much difference in quality??
Anyone got experience of the hids-direct or hids4u kits?
