HID problem

  Renault Clio 1.6 RXE
I've got a mk2 ph1 that has h4 bulbs, but I've bought some dual optics and I want to put in 6000k hid kit, I know you have to re wire them in but me and a mate tried and it burnt the back of my instrument panel. Just seeing if someone could tell me how to wire the hid kid properly. Also all the kits I looked at dont come with the wire which has a fuse and resistor on.

thanks in advance :)

What on...

The positive wire is run from the existing H4 connector, as is the positive for the high beam, and they share a neutral wire.

Can you show a pic of how you have it wired at the moment? Both sides.

Basically, when I had the standard lights in I had a hid kit for the h4 bulbs, and that kit can with a wire that attached to both lights and then to the battery with two earths at either ends for each light, but with a hb3 hid kit, it didn't come with that wire.. That wire also had a fuse on it and a resistor..

Right Ive got some pictures to explain better :)

This is the HB3 HID kit i've got:

This was the one for my H4 bulbs :

What I was trying to say is, is the HB3 kit right not to have the big long wire with the fuse on ? Or do I need that wire ?

I also got these from the scrappy if they are any help ?

Any help is hugely appreciated :)

The HB3 kit is right. The positive and neutral wires go into the red connector on the ballast, then the bulbs plug into the other connectors from the ballast.

So to wire them up do I use that hb3 connectors I got and wire them to the h4 connectors ?
