Hi im new to the clio but i love the car but need some advice

i have a clio sport 172 i have a 2.0l turbo engine out of a laguna but the 6 speed gearbox dose not fit the box i need is out of a megane but i need to no the right box code and i have a full 172 engine and box for sale but the engine is in bits but it is all there was going to rebuild but got this other engine

Unfortunately your post is incredibly difficult to read:

* You have a 172
* You want to put a Laguna turbo engine in
* The gearbox doesn't fit
* You think a megane box will fit
* You want to know the gearbox code
* You also have a 172 gearbox for sale
* You also have a 172 engine for sale but it needs to be rebuilt

Correct?

The Laguna engine is only 165bhp anyway isn't it. If your going to put that much effort into a swap definitely do the 225 engine conversion.
