help needed with VGA to TV port gone funny :(

hi i use my laptop on my tv sometimes to watch films.

one day it worked fine and then the next morning i come to plug it in and the picture has got like a blue tone to it, i have tryed a new cable, i have tryed playing with the settings but i cant seem to fix it

thats what it looks like on the tv

try checking the colour profile settings from the control panel. I just had something similar with a new monitor and that fixed it.

how do i do that? i went in to advanced and did something with the colour but that didnt solve it.

it worked fine the night befor :S

I'd have said bent pin but 15-pin D-SUB cables from device to display are always male-male, so if you change that you change any bent pins.

Colour profiles would be my next suggestion. Try another device with it also, and the laptop on another screen.
