Help needed- Head Unit Advise!

ive got 400 to spend and ideally want a pioneer unit with a detachable face.

i would love the p9600 but have a feeling it will look absolute sh*t in a clio:

For around 30 quid less i could get this model, which has very similar functions but does not have the gorgeous dual screen slide down thing, this would probably suit the dashboard in a mk2 clio more however.

or i could spend much less and get a more basic model which has less options but would look ok in a mk2 clio:

which of these would look best in a clio oir are there any other head units that look mighty fine in a clio?

is it worth spendin so much more money on a great head unit that will acutally look sh*t in your car?

Alpine CDA 9835 look mint in a clio dash, and it plays mint too.......

alpine head units all the way for that price bracket. surelly sound is more important than the look too. obviously understand you dont want a horrible looking h/u.

the cheapest pioneer you have there imo looks sh*t, if you do want a pioneer unit then id go for the middle one. Otherwise get an alpine cos theyre AWESOME

im considering alpine but i really dont like the look of any of them. sound quality and funcionality is obviously the most important and alpine win hands down on this.....but idont want a head unit i find butt ugly.

has anyone seen a p9600 in a clio or in a similar coloured dash/ or does anyone have a similar coloured head unit(bright silver! not silver - bright silver!) in a clio? drop your thoughts on how you think it would look in a clio.
