i think youll need a female iso block with bare wires comming out of it and a multimeter

As dink says a female ISO and a multimetre, I could guess a few of them but its always best to check with a metre.

Im having the same problem but for the Mk1... anyone help witht eh wireing on this one? Im getting the block at the weekend...

Hi, im still having trouble with this! I went to a Car Dismantler yard near me, and cut out the wires with a block on from a Clio a year later than mine. When i came home, i wired it up colour to colour. And hooked it up to a head unit. And it wont turn on, nothing happens! Ive tryed changing the fuse. What can i do? How do i tell if the fuse has been blown?

THANKS For any help

SORTED! managed to do it, but i still have 1 problem.. when i turn of the egnition, and restart, the memory of the head unit has reset.. Anyone know how to get around this?? Thanks

sorry m8 forgot to reply

there is some time bullet connectors on the wiring harness for the hu.

plug the red to the yellow and vice versa and that should sort it

Use multimeter to check power supplies.

With ignition off.RED 12V/Yellow 0V/Blue 0V.Check fuse in dash if no voltage

With ignition on.RED 12V/Yellow 12V/Blue 0V.

With lights on. RED 12V/Yellow 12V/Blue 12V.

If all is OK,Check Black to Ground for 12V.Should be 0V.If not there is a short.Put multi to ohms and check again, should be 0ohms.If this is OK check the two inline fuses on stereo again with mega.On some stereos there is an internal fuse this could have blown also?

If you have no meter use a 12V bulb/holder and a couple of wires.Better with the multi.

This should help?
