help me! firefox !

firefox has seem to have lost all my bookmarks and everything! anyone know why?

you've probably logged on with a different profile.

Close firefox down.

Go START -> RUN

and enter: firefox.exe -profilemanager

its on default. there isnt any others?

oh and my girlfriends account on this pc still has all its bookmarks

Ben, just had a look into this and Firefox backs up your bookmarks.

You can find them at the following

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles\<random text>.default\

nope its not there either! madness!

mine did this a while back, try making sure that firefox isnt running - use task manager and go into "processes" and look for it in there.

if it is, right click and select "end process tree".

this worked for me!
