Help - locking wheel nuts

Help! i've lost the the bit for my locking wheel nuts so I can't get the wheels off the car. Spoke to the local renault dealer and they say they can't replace it. They tell me I'll have to drill the old ones out and replace with a new set. Is this true? I thought that there would only be a limited number of designs and that if i gave them the chassis or VIN number they would be able to supply a replacement. Anybody got any suggestions?

Nope they don't know the codes for safety reasons.

There only a few different typres of keys but get the bolts removed and replaced though.

As edde says get them replaced and soon as if you have a problem your going to be stuck with the wheel on the car and can't get it off.

keep a socket peice and a hammer in the back of your car

get one of those wheel nut removers from ebay
