HELP good deal yes or no

  audi a3
I have been offered a 2004 Clio 182 cup for £1500. My plan is to use it on track and on the weekends

110,000 miles

Good points
Work carried out recently
Rear disc and pads changed
Rear callipers
Handbrake cables
Cv boots
Front disc and pads
New tyres cheap ones
Full standard exhaust system inc cat
Oil change
Lower arms

Clutch feels good
Doesn't overheat

Bad points
Body work and wheels in poor condition
Cam belt no history of it being done
Air con not working
Needs wheel alignment

I am a young mechanic and I am after a project and I think this is a good deal.

I'd personally just be after one with less bad points. Belts alone to be done properly are £500 ish

Its going to need belts doing so as above that puts it up to a 2k car.

If you search on here you can get some very sorted cars for that price and then you can add your own touches.

No but I'm willing to have a go.

I see you have 8 messages.

If youre not a troll, its a little bit more complicated to do the belts on these, you cant just tippex it up, and you will need the renault tools to do it too.

If you time it up incorrectly, your valves will smash your pistons, or if youre lucky you will lose around 20hp.

Before the haters hate.

Do your research on how easy or difficult the belts are. If the timing isout and it's common they run crap.
