HELP! cd player displaying "SPEECH"

there has been juice spilt across my dash. since this the stereo no longer works it just displays "SPEECH" across the display. i have tried disconnecting the cd player to try and get the code display to appear but this also doesnt work. just wondering if any of you guys in the know can shed a we bit of light on this

also renault want £60 per hour just to invetigate so this will be the last resort
