You could pay a visit to Birchdown, they're a Renault specialist and right on your doorstep, being based in Cheshire too.

http://www.birchdown.com/index.html

Not sure whether or not they have CLIP, but if they can't help, I'm sure they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

Failing that, anybody local with an RS Tuner and the airbag module should also be able to take care of this for you.

Hope you get it sorted (I hate having lights on the dash that shouldn't be there!!)

Cheers mate have not had much luck with the ressiors is there a how to guide on here any place give it one last go

I've not had any luck with resistors.. Fitted different ohm values, cut off plugs and soldered resistors in.. Removed resistors re-soldered plugs back on and tried other resistors.. And no luck, my patience got tested now I've just given up and feel like ripping all the airbag wiring out lol.

Here's a guide http://www.cliosport.net/threads/gu...light-removal-aftermarket-seats-wheel.630252/

Think I'll just have to buy an RSTuner with airbag module come MOT time.

If you can't find anyone with clip. Then try a few local garages and ask if they have a diagnostic tool called brainbee this has the function to turn the airbag off. We use brainbee at work and it work perfectly when I fitted my recaros.

Were are you based matt

  dan's cast offs.
Airbag light wasn't on before you did seats I take it?

It should go off straight away with resistors and it's not like you can go wrong fitting them. Birchdown will be closer than me and I'm sure they will be able to sort it for you but if not feel free to give me a shout.

copied clip off ebay is about £100 or so, not looked for a while though. it's a bit fiddly to do but once you get the hang of it it's not that bad. the way clip works is a bit retarded sometimes though. you'd swear it was designed in the 1980s!!

It's easier to find everything in Clip with the mk2 cars than it is on the mk3.

it's not finding stuff, it's the way that stupid bloody arrow that point to the right that logic dictates would take you on to the next page/step bloody doesn't and as for some of the translations!!!!!

You're not wrong there. It's a f**king spazzy system. I only use it to diagnose something my other code readers can't

Well a mate came round with auto logic and took the airbags off and we found you can also take the side impact sensors out as well cheers for everybody's imput
