help! 182 tickover

hi all. my standard 182 seems to tick over at very low revs when upto temperature. the rev counter sits at about 600. is this what they all do or is there something wrong, and if so what could it be.what does your std 182 tickover at when upto temp?

When ther engines warmed up it should tickover at 750rpm + / - 50rpm .
