hello all! i have been on here before as a non paying member, but now its time for me to make full use 
Im from Amesbury in Wiltshire.
my first car was a phase 2 1.2 8v that i spent too much money on (as you do!) started off lowered on 182 alloys then went through three colors, wheels, tidy oem+ to smoothed euro and finished off matt black, stripped out etc.
about a year ago i went to liverpool and bought a phase 1 172 for £350. it had a blown gearbox. i didnt reallly bother looking over that much as i was going to break it if it was no good anyway. i got it home, had a look over it took off the side skirts and guess what?...passenger side sill was rotten and the drivers side wasnt looking good either! managed to save the drivers but the passengers was beyond repair so i cut the whole thing out. ill save the rest for my build thread!
