Has anyone here restored a leather steering wheel? What kit?

Hi,
The perforated leather wheel in my car is wearing due to mileage and I'd like to restore the leather before further damage occurs.
Has anyone done one? What kit would you recommend?

If it's on a clio, it's not real leather and will just continue to perish. A lot of people get retrims done by snappy on here

Aye the clio ones are different, this is an E90 3 series

How badly damaged is it?

Leather resto kits usually involve sanding off the worst of the damage, covering damage with filler and then paint over the top.
Perforated leather will be much harder to do, you'll get filler in the perforations and end up with weird smooth bits on the wheel.
