dont worry about it C.
you dont have to have them nipple squashing tight on the road. you can allow a cm or two of slack, which will still keep you safer than stock belts, and is more than comfortable.

If anything, it will just encourage you to make better use of ure mirrors which too many people dont bother with

Ok I will give installing them a go today.

I don't need the rear black bar thing in that sits behind the back seats and the boot do I, as I don;t have one?

if it helps, this is mine.
i now have the harnesses crossed over, with the inside shoulder belt being mounted on the outside mount point in the doorcard.
but u get the idea. no black bar etc
