Had a dashboard Light On today! bit unsure as to what error it is?

This is not my dashboard! (I took the lazy way of finding one of the internet)

In this picture, its the one down from the fuel fill up symbol... it looks like a small box with like zig zags, or lightning going through it!

It came on and i lost complete torque, no power and wouldnt go over 40 mph,

So i started it again, and it went off and all power was restored? i dont just want to forget about it, as if theres a problem there, i need to find out what it is?

Cheers!

ive been getting the exact same problem for about 4 weeks now, happened on the dual carriageway a fews days ago. Took it into a garage today and he looked at the fault codes and said one of interest was something like Throttle heat sensor or something like that, not 100% on that though. but cuz i had a few codes on there he said that when it happens again bring it in and they will know what the problem is for sure then. :S

Well its funny cause it haveing now and again problems starting , I'm sure its the crank angle sensor, might replace that and the wiering and see how it is ?

Your best getting the fault diagnosed to be honest to save throwing cash into the wind replacing stuff you are not 100% sure is the fault.

true, gonna pop to see a local garage or a few to see if they can just do a diagnostics check to see whats the fault
