GT5 Help!

Seasons greetings!

Just borrowed GT5 & PS3 from a mate, I have gone into the Arcade mode and when trying to select a car from the menu the screen says ''there are no cars to select'' can anyone advise on how to resolve this? Thank you CS'ers!

There should be a garage to choose from with 50 premium cars???

There is sone tabs i think try clicking on them above were the cars shoukd be or if its set like gt mode garage there down the side of tje page
