Greenlight insurance question

plus a little rant.... spoke to greenlight about taking out insurance based on the quote they gave me. Asked me when i was last held insurance -2006- so my excess has gone up £100 to £350 because I have only been named driver on 2 cars. Load of rubbish if you ask me.

anyways, If i phone them up and take out insurance with them, am i insured straight away or do i need to wait till the next day???

You should be insured from the second you've paid for the policy.
