Gr. N .....RS suspensio kit

  Clio Rs ph1/182 cup
hi boys......anybody tried the official Gr N suspension kit for the clio ???

who doesn't knows what i'm talking about ....just take a look on the Rs catalogue ...

it's basically a coilover kit ....but no regualtion in the rear.....and in front uspside down setup.........

what did you think about it ?? it's too hard (a month ago i sold my official cup setup:D)

  S4 Avant
I take it we're talking about the Bilsteins that the cup racers run?

Undrivable on the road iirc.

yes...bilstein stuff....but the cup setup it's very different from the rally gr N setup ...........

  Not a 320d
Forget that for a laugh. Surely it wont be too dis similar to other cup sets found on other cars. very short travel, and rock solid.

Like dave says, Undrivable.

it has to be a bit softer than the cup setup..........it has larger springs...

  Golf GTD Mk7
^^^exactly. Rally kit will be much more usable on the road. Has to be softer, and more forgiving.

exactly......it has to absorb all the bumps of a rally stage(where I use the clio)

Fred or Icarus (Matt) might be able to help you out mate. They are very knowledgable on these things> If not, give RSport a ring and they will stock them.

I found them at a good price . . So i just want to know if they are extreme to daily driving

I think they won't be too hard for road use. Renault sport offers 3 different spring rates for tarmac - 50kg/cm (280lbs/inch), 60kg/cm (335lbs/inch) and 70kg/cm (390lbs/inch), with Bilstein shocks. Probably I'll have this kind of suspension on my car in a month or two.
