Got one!

So after posting up on here with some newbie questions and asking for some advice I have gone out and got myself a 182 with both cup packs ;)
Very pleased with it so far, yes it uses a lot more fuel than my old tdci focus but knew it would.
Kind of purchased it at the wrong time though lol. Our village was flooded for about a week so couldn't even get the car home and then its being icey since so not really being able to test it out!
It is standard as far as I know apart from the exhaust, lowered on springs and already has some clio sport stickers and a tax disk holder so maybe has being on here before? Also has a ktec sticker but not sure if there is any reason behind it or if its just for decoration.
Enough waffle, will show you a couple of pictures of my old cars and the clio!

Don't have much planned at the moment with it being winter and still trying to sell the focus.
Comments welcome and look forward to using the forums

Thought it was my old one when I saw the reg.

Could do with some non-smoked rear lights and a propper cup splitter.

Great username by the way! ;)

How much am I looking at for standard lights? Splitters are £120?

Thank you for the welcomes :)

Here comes the first bit of "that £12 is definitely worth it for the money you save" advice :p

You want to get yourself a 2005 Skoda Fabia VRS splitter. Looks virtually identical to the original, but flat instead of rounded. Nearly a perfect fit, you just need to cut about 3" off of the end. Fit with some self tapping screws straight up into the bumper (if possible drill pilot holes to make life easy) Better than original Renault one as the soft plastic just bends rather than shatters. And the price? Wait for it... £11+VAT

That looks good, quite like the fat splitter that is currently on it. This its a espace or laguna one?

Welcome

looks nice although agree with the lights. As for the splitter I think it works ok, no point ripping it off.

The back road from Helmsley up to Great Broughton is a stunner as well. Planning a new year trip out up there if the weather isn't too bad.

We will be having a Tan Hill or Hartside run in the NY. Some great roads out there.

When the cup going to be on the road?

You should join the North East group mate.

Click the regions tab in the menu bar and then click Join next to the NE. There will be plenty of meets for you to attend next year! :)
