Got myself a NEW 172 Cup for 600 + pounds !

  RS RIP
:D

ACTUALLY.... this is what i did to make the car feel like a brand new one ! ;

Inner + outer trackrod/ends , lower balljoints , new set of tyres (Michelin PE2's; excellent tyre) , new laser-alignement/tracking

I forgot to mention the new enginemounts (all round) which i did not too long ago ; probably another 400 ?

The specialist (real pro guy) who did the tracking took her for a spin after his job and said ; "this car drives like a brand new one" . :)

Afterwards i ofcourse drove home , thrashed a little and damnnn, i must say it does feel like a NEW 172 CUP !!! loving it..

Recommended to all ; change the above mentioned and keep her new :D

track rod ends are about £9 from eurocarparts, or £25 from renault

cool. thought they would be a lot more than that since a plastic splitter is £120+. thanks for that mark.
will get them changed in a few weeks when i get my tyres changed.

Hi Jaap ,

Around the corner at Abo Profile ; 260 for two including fitting and balance.. (not very cheap , full price on tyres but free fitting etc.)

sorry for late reply;

Thanks for all the compliments :eek:

The car is on H&R's , height is set up exactly how they came out of the box. Recommended ride-height by H&R .

Purpose of the thread; It's REALLY worth it to do the lower ball joints + outer trackrod ends from time to time !! Ofcourse get it laser-tracked afterwards also

btw; my daily driver is the one in the back on the right . Suzuki 800cc , 3 cilinder yeah !

No wonder the Ragnotti looks as new and now drives as new.

Did you ever gave cornerweighing a tought?
To put the icing on the cake on the tracking.
