Got my 182 too!

Delivered to work on the back of a Transit on Thursday morning! The Racing blue sort of stands out a bit!!! Not at all dissapointed with the car. Looks are great, the toys are VERY useful!!! Handling is, surprisingly, in a different league compared to the 306 Rallye i had before. Wasnt expecting to see as much difference, but Im not having to slow down much for corners any more! You needed more technique in the Rallye, in this it seems to be just chuck it in and go! havent explored the limits yet though, so they will probably need a little more thought!

Kept it under 5000 revs so far, mostly under 3500, but the odd blast to keep it on its toes. Initially doesnt seem to pick up as much as the test car I drove, but it is early days. Done 570 miles already so Ill slowly start ramping the revs up in a little while. Very pleased with the MPG too, gone up to 35 according to the computer.

Downsides, quite minor thankfully, are an occasional clunk when pulling away (I believe Im not alone here) and the fact that its decimating the fly population:

Nice colour choice mate, hope you enjoy it.

Done 3000 miles but I am only getting just over 30mpg and most of what I do is motorway??

Nice colour choice :D Yup, I get the clunk as well, just abs setting apparently, plus have had lots of tyre roar but this seems to be lessening the more miles I do.

Ive noticed the tyre roar too, I put it down to the fact that its got the stiffer sidewalls. I just love the cruise control - you can accelerate off the steering wheel! Bonkers! Didnt go for the stripes - if it was half the price then I would have seriously condidered it. I could always get it done by a local specialist.

I doubt the on board fuel computer is very accurate. Ive noticed that the fuel gauge seems to be dropping down fairly quickly, so my computer might need resetting.

One thing thats seriously getting on my nerves is the amount of crap drivers Im getting stuck behind. 20 miles from work to my house, yesterday I only got 500 yards without being stuck behind a dithering old coote!!! ARGH!!!! Why is it always 40 mph?????!

Anyway, will post some pics of the car tonight, just to whet the appetite of the people who are still waiting! See if i can get the camera to pick up the colour properly!

Drive safe!
