Goodyear Eagle F1

Whats the sidewall like against the rim of the wheel i.e is there much rim protection. Im gonna get some soon as the budget Khumo crap that i bought before are wearing thin now, the rim sticks out from the rubber sidewall. What sort of price should i be aiming for too?

Try tyretraders.com or mytyres.co.uk for competitive prices. Got a guy who I always use that matches there prices, always worth asking if your local place will. Rim protection is ok on the f1's, good tyre. I run pressures slightly higher than for the standard tyres as the f1's seem a bit softer on the sidewall.

Anything around 60 to 70 fitted from a local place is good IMO. Always worth asking around as I've found some local places do them for cheaper fitted than on the internet delivered!

I wouldn't go for the F1's tbh, I've got em on mine and I'm not very keen on them. Far too much sidewall flex. Very good in the wet though.

If it was me I'd go for T1R's or Parada Spec 2's although I don't think you can get spec 2's in 195/45/16 (if you're running 16s).

The best tyres iv ever owned, iv had to go back to proxies because money is tight at the mo and there are poor tyre compared to the goodyear. Theres a nice lip protecting the rim too
