Good Price?

  2007 MK5 VW Golf TDi
I have had a quote from a local Renault Specialist for the following:

Timing Belt Kit £124.91
Cam Plugs £8.00
Aux Belt Kit £16.64
Disposal Cost £3.98

Aux Pulley Kit £48.85
Aux Tensioner Kit £137.32
Water Pump £57.66
Coolant £29.00

Total £426.36
Labour £249.60
VAT £118.29

Grand Total £794.25

Is this a good price and do I really need it all? I think the Aux tensioners were done when it had its first Aux belt change....

  Meg on pistonheads £6995
forget Reno!

as long as u go to VAT registered garage and they use 'genuine' parts, still keep warranty.

I just had new pads & discs on an '03 Clio

Reno - £250 next week, local tyre garage £135 next day!

if you are anywhere near Kettering Northants, can STRONGLY recommend Selecta Tyre Eskdaill Steet.

"Local Renault Specialist" They are not a dealer but a local garage that are "Renault Approved" - the dealer want £650 just for the timing belt!!!

"can STRONGLY recommend Selecta Tyre Eskdaill Steet." I'll bear that in mind when I need new tyres mate ;)
