Getting a new exhaust

What a day ive had! the backbox fell of my 172 cup! lol

Priced one up at a couple of local garages who it turns out could only order the parts from the stealers so were wanting £185 fitted

Rang around a bit more and ive found a garage not so far from me that can make me a new backbox in stainless steel fitted for £200

Whilst im getting this done was thinking of going from the cat back in stainless steel if he can give me the right price for the extra so was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or tips on what i should get?

My main preference is i dont want it to be too loud and i also dont want a tailpipe sticking out as i want to keep the standard look

I though £185 was price of standard exhaust without labour anyway! well so my FSH states.

new back box iirc is £100 You will also need a sleave for around £20

these guys do genuine back boxes fo 172's
