Sorry not sure if this is in the right section.

But how much is a broken 182 gearbox worth?

Still could/can select all gears and drives in all gears, just made a ticking noise and was suspected to be the diff that is started to go. And there is 72,000 miles on the box if that makes any difference.

That's what I thought, but just seems like a waste just throwing it away/scraping it.
