After having my gearbox rebuilt and finally back together iv noticed a slight whine when around 3k in any gear. Kind of like same noise of being in reverse but nowhere near that loud.
Tried getting my girlfriend to hold revs at point it starts while in gear with car on stands but proved to difficult a task for her it sounded like it was coming from n/s driveshaft but got defended by her blipping revs.
I used renault recommend oil 75w80 on box as opposed to 75w90 not even done 100mile yet.
Would driveshaft make a whine as opposed to knocking sound or would it be box?
