Does a JC5 129 (172 cup) gearbox have the worm drive for a manual speedo cable?

What drives the 172 cup dials? is it a manual cable or a digital pickup from the "worm drive"?

Also JC5 130 (172 "I think") does this have a hole in the casing or is this like the 182 with the ABS pickups?
