gearbox oil

changed my gearbox oil yesterday, car has covered 59k got 5litres of tranself trx 75w80 cost me £38 including vat, if i had bought the oil in litre containers would have cost me £42ish for 3 litres, got enough to top up if needed

did you get the oil from renault mate?
what did you use to pour the stuff in the filler as it looks pretty tricky

yes mate got oil from renault, changed the oil in a mates garage he has got a pump with a clear pipe on the end, its like a very large syringe, did it from underneath took 10 mins

Get a clean bit of hose and a funnel..gets round that tricky bend and is very easy that way.

yes gears are a lot better now, got upper engine and lower gearbox mounts to change and shes ok
