Gearbox oil change

  E90 320d M Sport
Is there a guide available on how to change the gearbox oil on a 172?

Never done it before. Where can I find the Elf 75/90 oil from too?

Cheers.

It's pretty easy to be fair:

Jack the car up, remove under tray

You will see a sump plug on the bottom of the gearbox close to the gear linkages, it take the same size as the engine sump plug (6 or 8mm square- cant remember)

Undo that, and the old oil will pour out.

Put plug back in with a new copper washer and lower the car back down.

To fill up the gearbox you undo a plastic cap on the front of the gearbox underneath the clutch cable, undo it by hand and fill with new oil until its level with the hole, you will need a funnel and slim hose/tube to fill it up.

Once full, screw the cap back in and your done!
