Gaz Gold Shocks

  Clio 172
Hi guys, I've got gaz gold coilovers all round with shocks etc

My rear shocks have leaked some fluid to the extent where they're knocking, I was wondering if it would make much difference to put standard 172 shocks on for a while until I've had the gaz ones refurbished, would there be a height difference and would it work?

Regards
Steve

From memory the GAZ shocks have a shorter body than the standard items to accommodate for the drop that the springs give. Using the original shocks will more than likely give a bit of a softer ride and may risk bottoming the shock out on big bumps.

I wouldn't do it a long term solution, but for a few weeks whilst having the GAZ shocks refurbished it should be fine.
