Fuel warning light stuck on.

Hello all,

Slightly French issue with my Clio cup – Driving to work cars got over a quarter of a tank of fuel and the fuel light has come on and stayed on.

Tried turning the car off and back on still there.

Ran a gauge test to make sure the needle wasn’t stuck and the fuel warning was right. Nope – gauge works fine watched it drop on my way to work slightly.

Does it take the fuel warning light from a different feed ?

Mine did this. Just ignored it then next time I filled up with petrol it went off, and worked fine ever since.
A few have had this issue iirc.

this happened to me before after i stalled once, when the gauge dropped to showing refuel, i put more petrol in and it went off

Cool, Must be a sticky sender

Disconnect the sender under the rear bench and clean it up and reconnect.

Mine does this too occasionally, £20 at Shell sorts it out!

This happened to me. When i filled up it had gone off.

As above, when I stalled once it came on. Filled her up and all was sorted

Yep, chucked £40 quid in, problem solved.
