fuel sender units



looking to sort a ph 1 fuel sender set up out for my car with fpr from a ph1 fuel rail

however i was a little confused with whats what

as there seems to be a few different set ups with the fuel senders

im confused guys they all seem different, can anyone tell me if my sender unit is a ph 1 with return

as need one for the supercharged build

If you're going boost you'd be better of with a separate fpr rather than the ph1 unit so it can vary the fuel pressure with the boost.

As long as you have 2 lines on the sender you should be fine for a flow and return to the tank.
 
no i had a ph 2 fuel rail so no fpr at end, see this is what was confusing me a little

i would be better running a standalone, but this seems the cheaper option atm

i know cheaper is not always best, but will try this and see how it goes

I use a ph2 fuel rail with std alone fpr regulator. Very straight forward to do. Just tee of the for the fuel rail before the fpr and then the return goes from the regulator to the tank.
