Fuel Filter for 172 cup

I was wondering when would the fuel filter need to be changed for a 172 cup. If needing to be replaced where is it located and how to change it. Help much needed as I dont want to leave these things un-noticed.

Its in the fuel tank itself.

realy 150K! thats alot of miles to change a filter. wont it be clogged by then?

Where is the fuel tank located and where do i get to it. I need specifics.

lift the rear bench, you'll see the fuel sender unit (the round thing) thats the top of the tank, the filter is in the tank, no need to touch it

5years or 72K (but do it earlier as i've seen them go at a lot less than that!)

filter - you would've sold the car long before then i would think!

cambelt - i would suggest 4.5years/ 65K to be "safer"

aux belt? i havent changed mine yet. supposed to be 36k i think but ive done 40k now

aux belt is 36K, piece of piss to change on a REAL cup (unlike 172/182's!)

erm NO!!! the belt is about £10 and its less than an hour to fit it

any VAT reg'd garage can do it, SO easy on a cup

wot u rekon cost wise am i looking at? do i get an auxilery belt from the Renault Stealers?

yeah get the belt from the dealer, as i say its cheap

30min to swap it on a cup, an hour if you have a tea and fag break!

people usually charge about £40 quid an hours labour. Belt costs £10. £50 quid all in then. Not bad!

lol if a f4r ever needs a fuel filter at 150k ill pay for the rebiuld if it makes it there!
