Front wheel bearing - which way to press out?

I'm changing a front wheel bearing on my cup packed 182.

It looks like the bearing will press out of either side of the hub, I've removed both circlips.

Is one way better than another?

I think they go out to in, so it needs to come out by going inwards, if that makes sense.

Oh, and Arch flarer is back with me now.
