Foot rests

I was going to put a passengers foot rest in my track car but the floor looks very uneven (it’s stripped) how have you guys done it?

I've got a carbon one in mine and I had to make spacers to go under the bolts on that one.
My previous car had a similar aluminium one to the link and I had to spacer the front on one side and think I cut the back edge and modified it to bolt in.

I don't understand why you need a foot rest in a track/race car ??

I don’t need one my passengers just need something to push against, helps the poo come out I think :laughing:

Mine are road/stage rally cars.

I will say it is a lot more comfortable as a passenger in a track car with a footrest in though

Defiantly agree with the comment above, been a passenger a few times and it helps to have something to brace yourself on.
