Fitting rear pads help

Hi ive just repaced one side of my rear pads (got to dark to do the other)

I wound the piston back put new pads in a slide the slider in with pin. Problem is the 2 pad clips are very loose when I put them on the pads cant work out why?

the car spat a pad out

Thats why ive replaced them

The spring clips need pushing further up the pads so the top of the spring is onto the caliper so once you knock the slider in at the bottom of the pads the spring is then under pressure onto the pads
