Fitting pre-tensioner and airbag ECU - advice needed

OK so I've got a new seatbelt pretensioner and airbag ECU coming to replace my current ones, which activated when I hit a pothole. I know what parts to change and how to do it, but obviously I want to do it all in the right sequence - I don't want the new pretensioner activating as soon as I wire it up and the new ECU needing a reset. So, what's the best job sequence? I'm guessing
  1. Disconnect battery
  2. Swap ECU
  3. Disconnect seat
  4. Replace pretensioner
  5. Reconnect seat
  6. Hope and pray
  7. Reconnect battery
Does this seem right?
