Fitting K&N Filter to 1.2

I've got this K&N cone filter laying around from my previous car (MINI Cooper S) and would like to fit it to the 1.2 as it needs a filter anyway and a nice bit of induction noise is good

What would be the easiest and cheapest way of fitting this? Could I simply remove all the standard air box components and make up some pipe and bolt it to the TB? It is a late 2003 1.2 16v.

Thanks

What year 1.2 do you have as the tb on some models are in the inlet. You'll require an adaptor which comes part of a kit. Also I think it'll matter if its 16v or 8v.

Try and find a picture of an engine bay similar to yours.
