Bought a Clio today. 2004 182 full fat with both cup packs. Blue.

Looking forward to getting it on track.

That is all. PT

Evening all. Staggered at insurance for these things. I am insuring a 330hp Atom and a massviely modified 230hp Elise (including 6 track days with each car) for less than my best quote for an unmolested 182 Clio. My insurance broker has just told me that he doesn't do Renaults. Any advice? I am 43 with 1 £5k claim in 25 years and 1 SP30 in the same timeframe (both in the last 5 years however).

At the moment, it is cheaper to do £25 a day insurance for the odd run to the track. Maybe I am starting to feel the pain of the youth...

Try admiral. Always had great prices from them. I'm 22, 1 year NCB. 9 points. 4 years driving.

I've just used Admiral at 21 with 3 years NCB 0 Points on a 172 and had a one off payment of £1700 or £2900 in Monthly instalments.
Needless to say it was pretty much as good as it got so I had to take it.

Welcome anyway PT.

Thanks for the tips. The best Admiral can do is £760. I am trying the specialists as we speak.
