Fiesta ST Detail

So yesterday, I took on the cold task of doing a light paint correction and winter protection detail on a Fiesta ST. The car is generally well looked after, so was a good base point. I've never really done a proper detail in winter, as I usually pack everything away, but the owner wanting it sorting before winter really kicked in. The cold was a right PITA. Took me ages to totally dry off the car.
Pretty pleased with the results though and the owner was very happy.

Process was as follows:
- Clean wheels using Bilberry wheels cleaner
- Arches given a quick going over with Grime Out
- Snow Foam
- Wash
- De-tar using ObliTARate
- Iron-X'd
- Clayed
- Washed again
- Attempted to dry and took it into the garage
- Polished using Menzerna 106FA
- Layer of AF Tripple
- 2x layers of Zaino Z2
- 1x layer of Dodo Juice Banana Armour
- Tyres dressed
- Windows dressed
- Exhaust tip polished

So, onto the photos...

Taken into the garage and inspected the paintwork. The car was covered in light swirls and loads of RDS. Was really hard to get good quality photos of them though, but here's a couple that slightly demonstrate this.

Fack! It's like a sheet of glass. Did you notice a lack of Orange peel? They're usually terrible!

Superb work Polski!

Cheers dude. There was only a couple of patches that I noticed to be particularly "orange peeley". The rest of the car was spot on.

Its the first time I've worked on a Ford. I was very surprised at how well it reacted etc. Seemed very easy to get a decent level of correction.
