Fiat 500 with Lamborghini V12 in the back, tractor mechanic strikes again!

I spoke to my uncle in Italy the other week and he mentioned that the tractor mechanic he knows has put a V12 from a Lamborghini (not sure which) into a 500 as his latest project.

The guy is wasted as a tractor mechanic! I'm not sure if it was meant to coincide with Lamborghinis' 50th anniversary or not, we are visiting in June so I'll have to pop and see it in the flesh!

Fiat actually gave this as an optional model, they ranged from a

1.0 3cylinder
1.2 4cylinder
6.2 V12

The later was the deluxe model with passenger sun visor and am/fm radio

I did mean to dig this up and upload my photos and vids from our visot back in June but they aren't as good as those on the site anyway!

He is working on the next project which will be equally as interesting although 'only' a V6.

He took the time to show us his collection of mint, modified and mental 500's starting each one up for us, letting it warm then giving it a few revs as any proud Italian would! I dropped my phone when the Porsche engined 500 spat a large pop!

He's been in the Italian Top Gear magazine and also been offered €300k for the V8 engined car by an Arab, which he politely declined, somebody phoned from Russia enquiring about having a car created for them.

The 'Murci' engined car has a full a 4wd drivetrain and gearbox adapted from the donor car and a working rev counter in the centre of the streering wheel!

I can't wait to see what he has come up when we visit next!
