I'd guess at between £90-£130 month.

No, it was fine when he bought it. From what I remember he had an injector stick wide open and caused some damage to the cylinder bore.

Holy s**t. £12k?!?! I really really want a V10, but not with bills like that hanging over my head. BMW give warranties on these at this age? No brainer then!

Full BMW history as per schedule, under 60k it's cheaper, over 60k is more expensive (unless pay by DD), no inspection required.

Depends on how many. Best thing to do in that's situation is to call warranty company first just to check.

I'm pretty pissed with myself for not looking round the car when I i collected. However like I said it was pouring.

After 7 weeks I go the car back, no issues with work carried out however the communication has been quite frankly shocking.

Sorry to hear this, I hope the dealership resolves to your satisfaction. There is some irony that the point they've managed to scrape right over the parking sensor!

wonder if it was done while parked up by another car or someone walking past with something large, say a wheelie bin or similar.

Still a s**t situation which they should be trying their best to resolve.

Shouldn't matter, should come out the same condition it goes in. It can be a nightmare as my car had been in for bodywork and mechanical work in one stint last year, and I didn't notice a mark in the boot till a bit later on. Pointless pointing fingers unless you spot it right away.

It's quiet a impact for for a car that's kept in a secure yard. Bumper has been creased which you can't see in the pics.

I really doubt you'd feel that in a 5 series. Hopefully they sort it no issues, BMW left a scratch on my car after recovering it (it was actually the delivery guys that pointed it out). They never did sort it out.
